Cambridge Finance

In addition to Conferences run throughout the year, Cambridge Finance runs regular events during term time.  The aim of these events is to forge links and share knowledge between different disciplines studying finance, creating and nuturing this research community.

Cambridge Finance weekly workshop series
Held on Thursdays during term time, the workshops are an opportunity for those working in finance to present their latest results or papers to peers. We aim for six per term; two each from students (from Economics, Judge Business School, Mathematics, Law and Real Estate Finance), staff, and invited external speakers. In general, the sessions consist of a 45-60 minute presentation followed by questions from the audience. The Cambridge Finance seminar series is funded and administered by the Cambridge Endowment for Research in Finance (CERF)

Cambridge Finance student lunches
At the end of each term, we host a lunch for graduate students and postgraduates working in Finance.  Cambridge Finance aims to establish a research community of the highest international standard and reputation by bringing together the various research centres in finance at the University of Cambridge.  We have among our ranks leading experts in financial economics, financial mathematics, financial regulation, real estate and law.  The lunches offer students and staff the opportunity to meet and to discuss areas of mutual interest.   Attendance is by invitation only.
